  • Thank you Mariah!

The webinar was great! I had some questions that I asked online and was told that I would get a response offline after the webinar. I have not seen anything come through yet. Thank you.

Hi Sarah- I would be happy to chat with you about what we are doing. We just launched a process for providers in the early Fall and are continuously tweaking. You are welcome to email me at mrenner@pickpeach.org or call me at 559-304-1643.

    Thanks for the feedback Ann!

    Here is my assignment.

If I were to contact your Medical Assistant at your last organization, what would she/he tell me about what it is like to work with you? (Can you provide me with that person’s name and contact information….)

Also, productivity seems to be an issue after someone starts versus during the screening and interview process. How to get information to get on the same page about expectations on both sides, and not have that change on the provider side once they start….

    I agree Denise!

No, we tend to be in more of a reactive versus proactive mode.

Yes, but not generally for provider interviews. Phone calls are more common (including use of conference call lines when including folks from multiple locations within the organization.

Hi! My name is Mary Renner and I am the HR Director for Peach Tree Healthcare located in Marysville, CA which is about 45 minutes north of Sacramento. I have over 25 years of experience in HR with 17 of those being affiliated with Community Health Centers. I have also worked at the Regional Consortium for California’s Central Valley with a focus on Workforce Development. I look forward to learning new and innovative ideas from the participants and staff of the Recruitment Bootcamp.

I am proud of the fact that I have been able to serve on the Executive Team of the health centers where I worked. It is gratifying that the CEOs of these organizations value the importance of HR having a ‘seat at the table.’

A recent challenge is that the health center where I currently work had their HRSA site visit last Fall. We were dinged on credentialing. This was dismaying because during the prior site visit, credentialing passed with flying colors. Nothing in the process or requirements changed. The HR Team worked hard to clean things up and create an entirely new process that has been hardwired and met HRSA’s expectations.
