As health centers, Primary Care Associations (PCAs), and Health-Center Controlled Networks (HCCNs) work to improve clinician retention in the field, questions continue to emerge about the real problem of turnover. There is not currently a publicly available data set available that specifically captures health center turnover, so ACU’s STAR² Center has created this web-based tool to collect and analyze turnover at health centers.
Health centers can access this tool on a rolling basis, completing their turnover information from the year prior. Once adequate information has been collected, ACU will be able to aggregate the data on a state, regional and national basis, which can be shared to assist health centers in benchmarking their own data.
By completing the tool, health centers will also be able to calculate the total cost of turnover at their organization as well as receive recommendations for mitigating turnover.
