This document was created by Bill Diggins, Chief Executive Officer at Health Access Network and shared with the STAR² Center to support the 2017 report – Interviews with the Field: Best Practices and Current Challenges.
The document was created to walk a workforce team through the steps of Recruitment, Onboarding, Orientation, and Retention (ROOR) for each potential candidate in a health center’s recruitment and retention process. The document is available for download here, and is unlocked to allow users to populate the file with their own information. The “Admin” sheet feeds the heading information and dates on each page. The date columns are formulated to project timeline dates for 30, 60, or 90 days out depending on the item that needs to be completed. Each individual sheet also updates the “At a glance” sheet, so any “notes” or “date completed” information should be entered on the individual sheets and those sheets will automatically populate the “At a glance” sheet.
