Kit De Herramientas Para El Desarrollo De Una Organización Inclusiva
La Association of Clinicians for the Underserved, National Health Care for the Homeless Council, y Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) produjeron un kit de herramientas para el desarrollo de una organización inclusiva que ofrece respuestas a las preguntas más frecuentes de capitación y asistencia técnica de los centros de salud. Building an Inclusive Organization: A Toolkit for Health Centers (English)
The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved, National Health Care for the Homeless Council, and Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) produced a toolkit that responds to the most common training and technical assistance questions from health centers. Specifically, the toolkit answers the questions:
- How can you use data to assess needs, implement action, and ensure accountability?
- What are best practices in implementing policies to support an inclusive environment?
- How can we create a culture of inclusion and equity demonstrated in our daily actions and words?
Join us as we provide an overview of the Building an Inclusive Organization Toolkit and walk through resources to support your organization in creating inclusive spaces.

Practicing Cultural Humility at Health Centers and Supporting Asians and Asian Americans Experiencing Hate and Violence
Cultural humility is a process of self-reflection and discovery that is needed to understand and eliminate health disparities especially those that are perpetuated by discrimination and bias. In this session, participants will receive an overview of cultural humility principles, how it impacts health care, and strategies for training staff.
This session will also include a discussion on cultural humility as it relates to our work with Asian and Asian American patients and colleagues and how we can be supporting members during an increase in anti-Asian hate crimes and violence.
