STAR² Center Webinar – Coaching and Mentoring

Some staff at health centers come into their roles possessing the skills for the job but not with an overall understanding of the position. In order to give staff the best chance at success in a new position, it is fundamentally important for staff to have a coach or mentor at the health center in which they are employed. These mentors can have a positive impact on the staff’s ability to carry out their role, increase satisfaction, and increase a sense of belonging for staff from a variety of backgrounds. Join the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved’s STAR² Center for a webinar that explores the financial support needed for successful coaching and mentoring programs, details strategies for implementing coaching as a tool that supports the needs of each individual, and highlights considerations for inclusive mentoring.
