Workforce Development Part 1: Recruitment and Retention of Behavioral Health Providers

A variety of tools exist to improve patient care in integrated behavioral health settings, however even the best efforts may fall flat if behavioral health providers are a poor fit, disengaged, burnt out, and out of touch with innovative clinical tools. Participants will learn tips and practical tools to better understand and address the key factors in identifying and retaining key behavioral health positions in integrated care settings. The webinar will also address topics including core competencies for practicing within an integrated team, selecting professions that are the right fit for relevant populations and integrated environments, the marketing of behavioral health positions, matching position duties to provider type and credentials, and avoiding staff burnout.
