  • Kristin – Good to hear! Having the real costs broken down allows you to see where you may want to cut or save more on what is not working and possibly increase the budget where it works.

    Sarah –

I am glad you are utilizing the virtual technology.

Kristin – Yes, getting individuals to Alaska to interview is costly. I am glad you see the benefit of technology in doing pre-screening virtually.

    Katrina –

I am glad you have used Zoom, it really cuts down on the initial time to find out if the candidate is a good fit.

    Rachny –

Skype is very popular, I am glad you are using the technology to assist with interviewing.

Hi All – It is great to get get school administration, realtors, and other chamber members involved. It really helps if they understand their role and are informed – then they are more willing to participate. If you have any information that you use for marketing or a annual report you can send to them prior then they feel like they know something about what you do. Even a phone call with them to let them know what all the services are and how you impact the community will make them feel more part of the process.

Hi Everyone – Well there seems to be a consistent theme here :) Time is a issue in all Health Centers. Pulling the team together is hard, but essential for success. Has anyone tried an online meeting to pull the team together? Or does anyone have suggestions on what has worked well for them?

Annie – This looks good. It is nice the both the CMO and CEO are involved in the draft of the position. I really like the way you have the responsibilities laid out for the recruitment staff. Well done!

Katrina – You spelled out the responsibilities very well. It is nice you have the ED involved in the tours etc… Well done!

Maushma – Thank you for sharing, you have the responsibilities laid out very well. The recruitment process is much smotther when everyone knows their roles and responsibilities. Nice job!

Here is a good article on dyad leadership. It gives good insight into what you need to think about with this type of structure. Mayo clinic is a leader in this area and had integrate care for many years long before the rest of us followed: https://www.mgma.com/resources/resources/business-strategy/5-success-factors-for-physician-administrator-part

    Hi Lander –

My experience is for small rural communities, the newspaper can still work. Although, supplementing that with ads on FB, Twitter and other mediums helps. People in rural communities still receive and read the local paper, unlike in larger cities where it is all online.

    Hi Mary –

I love your ad and homework. The only thing that I would suggest, based upon what we learned from Michelle, is possibly put the information about Peach Tree lower in the ad. Bullets 2, 3 and 4 caught my attention, and maybe one of those should be the first bullet. Those are my thoughts. Ann
