Learning Collaborative – Unlocking Workforce Potential: Mastering Staff Satisfaction Surveys

Staff satisfaction surveys hold immense potential as catalysts for fostering retention, bolstering engagement, and nurturing trust within any organization. Yet, their efficacy hinges greatly on the methods of their execution and the diligence of subsequent follow-up. In this dynamic four-part learning collaborative, participants will embark on a transformative journey to master the art of conducting staff satisfaction surveys and implementing strategic follow-up measures.

Participants will delve into the intricacies of survey design, administration techniques, and data interpretation, gaining invaluable insights into maximizing survey effectiveness. Furthermore, they will explore promising practices for initiating targeted action plans tailored to address the diverse spectrum of concerns and suggestions highlighted by survey responses.

Empowered with this knowledge, health center leadership, HR departments, and managers will be equipped to navigate the nuanced landscape of employee engagement, driving meaningful improvements across various facets of health center operations. By proactively addressing the issues raised through staff satisfaction surveys, participants will cultivate an environment conducive to sustained employee satisfaction, organizational resilience, and optimal performance.

Target Audience: HR Staff, Chief Workforce Officers, Management staff and/or those charged with conducting and responding to staff satisfaction surveys. Teams of 2-3 from each health center are preferred, but individuals are also welcome.

  • Series Learning Objectives:
    • Understand the components of staff satisfaction surveys and actions needed for follow-up.
    • Examine the value of staff satisfaction surveys in informing health center leadership and increasing staff engagement.
    • Understand how best to conduct and follow up on staff satisfaction surveys.
    • Discuss action steps to address issues discovered during the survey process.
  • Outcomes:
    • Health Centers will commit to implementing a staff satisfaction survey at their health center.
    • Health Centers will commit to implement or update three policies and procedures as a response to the information gathered in the staff satisfaction survey.

Sessions will take place on Thursdays, April 25, May 9, May 23, June 6 from 3:00-4:15PM ET . This program is free of charge for accepted participants.
