STAR² Center Recruitment Boot Camp – Spring 2022

Having a documented, comprehensive recruitment plan is vital to recruitment success at a health center. During this learning collaborative, participants will spend one hour every other week in a mix of webinars, discussion, and assignments to complete an overhaul of their recruitment processes. Starting with a self-assessment and planning all the way through contracting, this series will provide guidance, tools, and templates for health center participants to update their recruitment processes and lay the groundwork for additional workforce planning. Faculty will continue to support cohort members as they implement their recruitment plans by following up three to six months after the end of the learning collaborative. In between sessions, you will have ample support in completing assignments and implementing action items. ACU staff will be available to provide technical assistance and peer support will be available through the Discussion Board.

    • 6/9/22: Screening Process; Interviews/Visit
    • 6/23/22: Follow-Up; Contract; Onboarding
    • 6/30/22: Changing Workforce Needs; Development

The application process for this learning collaborative has closed. Applicants were notified of their conditional acceptance on April 5, 2022. In order to confirm their acceptance, applicants must secure acknowledgment of and commitment to their participation in the learning collaborative from a member of their leadership team and share this with the STAR² Center team by April 11, 2022.
