From September through December, participants will spend one hour every other week in a mix of webinars, discussion, and projects to complete an overhaul of their recruitment processes. Starting with a self-assessment and planning all the way through contracting, this series will provide guidance, tools, and templates for a health center to update its processes and lay the groundwork for additional workforce planning. A cohort of 15 health center staff will benefit from peer sharing on our online discussion forum and from direct access to technical assistance from faculty. This “back to basics” boot camp is designed for health center staff with at least two years of recruitment experience. Faculty will continue to support cohort members as they implement their recruitment plans by following up three to six months after the end of the learning collaborative.
Webinars: These instructor-led webinars will provide an overview of a recruitment process and the supporting tool/project for participant completion. Following the didactic portion of the webinar session, the instructor will introduce the assignment for the week and allow time for questions from the cohort members. All webinars will last for one hour and will take place at 2pm Eastern.
Assignments: Instructors will provide participants blank templates for various recruitment process. Participants will spend time every other week filling in these templates, and will have the opportunity to request feedback and assistance from instructors and other participants.
Discussion Board: Participants will share questions and information with instructors and their cohort on this private discussion board. Links to webinars, assignments, and additional resources will also be available here.
