This report considers a variety of provider mix and support staff ratios that have been employed by health centers to promote recruitment and retention of their staff especially during the current shortage of primary care physicians. The report offers observations on how various staffing strategies can be used to achieve the Quadruple Aim and reduce the risk of provider burnout at health centers.
