I was reviewing the recording and a couple of resources mentioned, It was stated the resources would be posted under resources, but I do not see them (please forgive me if I over looked them), The resources mentioned were:
– Resource for “key words”
– Resource from CHAMPS

I hope you had a great weekend! I am in the processes of submitting my assessment and had a quick question. For items that we are in the process of creating or are inconsistently doing, should our response be “No”, where the only response options are “yes”, “no”, “never”, etc.Thanks for the Tips.

I thought I would share my responses to Session #3 homework assignment:
What is the one thing you will accomplish this month?
Open EnrollmentWhy do you want to accomplish this goal (be specific)?
It is annual requirement to ensure that staff have been provided an opportunity to enroll, terminate, or change any of their benefitsWhat are three action steps needed to accomplish your goal?
1. Send out renewal worksheets and premium memos to staff, including a deadline
2. Follow up with staff 5 days before deadline, if staff has not returned signed memo to see is they have any questions and to remind them of the deadline
3. Submit applications for new enrollments. Input/update premiums deductions in payroll systemWhat will you do daily to accomplish your goals?
Daily is too frequently; I will monitor weekly.How will you hold yourself accountable?
1. Weekly monitoring
2. Create and manage a checklist of received/outstanding packets
3. Deadline provided to staff is a soft deadline, providing this “cushion” ensures that I will have a 100% of the memos/applications before the actual deadlineGood morning Michelle,

I thought I would share my homework response as my computer does not have a camera and I always seem to have audio challenges.
While there is always room for improvement, I believe I posses the foundation for supporting the whole person. I am constantly re-evaluating myself and make improvement.
Intellectual – I am very logical and think big picture. I am respectful and well respected
Emotional – I lead by example, I offer sincere support, I am empathetic and I am trustworthy and easy to talk to
Physical – I am very mindful of body language, my own and others. When meeting with someone, i always provide my undivided attention (i.e. I let calls go to voice mail)
Intentional – I am authentic, consistent and inclusive. I do not single out individuals in publicly; I will privately if warranted, but in a constructive manner. I counsel vs. reprimand (even when terminating someone).The 5 ways I support my team:
1) Regular Check-ins
2) Provide clear expectation
3) I a good communicator/ good listener
4) I have and practice an open-door policy
5) I encourage and motivate staff, especially during challenging timesWhat I would like to start doing:
1) Create a formal Training and Development Program
2) Expand our recognition program
