Hi all, during this week’s webinar we ran right up to the end of our allotted time so we did not have a chance to answer your questions “on air” but Sarah Franklin did ask a couple of great questions that I wanted to share with you all to discuss.

    – Regarding references for applicants: Do you have some questions you recommend asking and/or a form to use when receiving reference information?

    – If you have a contract for an employee when you specify the items that are different than the Employee Handbook, can you then refer back to the Employee Handbook in the contract if other items follow that policy?

Thanks again, Sarah, for asking such great questions!

For this question, please create a behavior-based question to learn about your candidate’s:

    1. Empathy

    2. Ability to deal with conflict

    3. Work style (follower or leader)

    4. Cultural fit

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the line just now! We left you just enough time to get started on this week’s assignment. We’re looking forward to reviewing your responses ahead of next week’s session!

Hello and happy Thanksgiving! I hope you’re all having a great week. We have pre-recorded this week’s webinar for you to review at your own pace. You can find the recording here (https://youtu.be/eg-yxbdPx8E). Please help us to keep track of who has participated this week by completing this very short quiz (https://goo.gl/forms/tFGtWz13gm0Gy0y83). We’ll look forward to being back with you next week!

The template for this week’s assignment is included here! Take your time to fill out each table and be sure to post your Ad Text to this Discussion Board tab for our faculty to review. Since there are no discussion questions for this week, we hope you’ll review and comment on each other’s ads so the cohort can help each other improve!
