2019 Workforce Summit: Elevating and Applying Effective Workforce Strategies

The importance of attracting and retaining a capable and competent workforce committed to meeting the needs of health center patients cannot be overestimated. The complexity of health care delivery and administration, particularly, on behalf of the medically underserved, requires staff and leadership at health centers to have an ever increasing awareness of effective practices for addressing issues affecting the health workforce.

This one-and-a-half-day summit for administrative, clinical, operations, human resources and workforce development leaders of Health Centers (CHCs), Health Center Controlled Networks (HCCNs), and Primary Care Associations (PCAs) will examine common workforce challenges across the spectrum of the health center community, its partners, and outside industry. It will highlight operative and practical strategies that your peers are employing to address pipeline development, recruitment, retention, staff diversity, and leadership challenges, as well as introduce resources to assist in overcoming difficulties to gaining and maintaining a high quality workforce.
