The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) recognizes the immense impact that health professions training programs have in creating a prepared workforce and alleviating recruitment and retention challenges at health centers. With the support of HRSA’s Bureau of Primary Health Care, ACU’s STAR² Center has created a short assessment to gather information on health centers’ current experiences with health professions training activities.
This assessment takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and should be completed by all health centers regardless of whether or not they are currently training health professions students or residents. Information gathered through this assessment will be used to identify potential areas for resources, training, or technical assistance. Please complete the assessment online by December 29, 2017. You may preview the questions prior to completing the assessment by clicking here. Please click here to view Frequently Asked Questions about this assessment.
To help our workforce partners share this assessment with their health center colleagues, we have developed short newsletter blurbs to include in upcoming member communications.
If you have any questions about the assessment, please contact Allison Abayasekara, ACU’s VP of Training & Programs, at 202-680-2749 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
